Bidston Rise Residents to Get Street Trees

The residents of the Bidston Rise area of Bidston, Wirral are to get over 32 new street trees in their streets.Residents called into a drop in session to look at plans of the project this Saturday.

Jean Mc Intosh of the Bidston Rise Residents Association said 'I'm really excited to hear that the trees might now finally be going in after years of campaigning.I remember when The Mersey Forest came and planted trees in Norman Street back in 2008 and residents were very keen on having trees then'.
Ben Greenaway, project coordinator said  'these trees will brighten up the long grey streets of the estate and bring some much wanted greenery'
