Following tonight's Cabinet meeting of Wirral Council the proposal that Wirral Council takes on the future maintenance, and adopts the proposed 600 or so street and green space trees; approval has been given to the plant the first 170 or more trees this year before March 2013.
More trees will follow in the subsequent two years.
Areas targeted at present are Hoylake Rd, Duke Street and environs, Gaultby Rd, and parts of Ilchester Park along Stanley Rd.
Plans of the proposals, together with before and after mock ups of the target areas can be seen at The Town Hall, Wallasey till Monday afternoon 23rd July 2012.
Following this plans will be available at either the St James Centre off Laird St or in Illchester Park on Stanley Rd on Wednesdays for the next three weeks from Wednesday 27th 2-4 p.m.
